Limitless
Limitless is a project on boxers who train at Nomis Boxing Gym in Washington, D.C. The gym runs on a shoestring budget, but still provides a safe space for children and nearby residents to grow and be themselves in a community that was once riddled by violence, but is beginning to change. The photographs are of select boxers who have chosen the location of their portrait based on where they feel their best. The boxers also participated in an on-site poetry workshop with local non-profit Split This Rock. The portraits are paired with these poems as a way to empower their voices.
